  • José goes for Gold

    José Barragán brought back a first place finish from the Robert G Auld Student Paper Competition at CSChE 2023 in Calgary. His joint work with the LRG and the NRC on embedding sensors in next generation composite materials has applications ranging from health sciences to aerospace engineering. Congratulations José!

  • The Best in the West

    Laura Dickson went all the way out to Calgary to present at her first conference. Thanks to all the organizers at CSChE 2023 for a great event.   • Congratulations Zach!

    You’re not seeing double. Dr. Zachary Comeau was awarded both the Pierre Laberge Thesis Prize and the University of Ottawa Faculty of Engineering Best Doctoral Thesis Award for 2022.   • Sunny Days at Soleil

    The LRG team was back at Soleil this summer to see the sites and soak some samples in x-rays. Many thanks to Sufal and to the whole team for the great learning experience and exciting new findings!

  • The LRG Goes to FPi15

    First time fliers and seasoned Saskatchewanians all made it to Raleigh to present the whole range of research from the LRG. Nic, May, Bahar, and Halynne made sure to take in the best of wood smoked BBQ and to show off everything from shrimpy electronics to new semiconductor models.

  • The New Voice of Saskatchewan

    Benoit was a guest on The Evan Bray Show to discuss how we’re building new materials for the future and how The Canadian Light Source and Saskatchewan play a key part in our research.
